In case you don’t know me yet, I’m Alicia Forest, and I’ve had a very profitable online business since 2001 when I started my 23-year career as an online marketing and business coach. 🤓

What if I'm just starting out or have a small list?

Then we’ll focus on making a plan and taking action to get to your first 1000 readers.
Just so you know, I only had 17 people on my email list the first time I sent my newsletter. 😉 We all start with just a few people, but that’s all we need!
So don’t let just getting started and having a small list deter you, ok?
How much time will this program require of me?
I understand how hard it can be to find time for new learning and taking action, so I’ve designed each of the strategy trainings to be no longer than one hour, with most being closer to 30 minutes, while still giving it the full treatment so you can take action right away.
Implementation time depends on where you are on your business-building path.
Asking questions and engaging in the private Facebook group can take as little or as much time as you’d like.
But remember – even though you’ll have access to all 24 strategies, you won’t be doing them all! You get to pick and choose the handful that resonate the most with you!
Some weeks, you’ll want to try both strategies. Other weeks, only one will be something you’re interested in doing. And other weeks, maybe you don’t want to do either strategy and that’s cool too – you can use those weeks for implementing or catching up!
In the end, you’ll likely land on 5-6 that you enjoy and that work for you! And that’s all you need to consistently grow a successful reader email list.

Who's behind OMIFA?
Me! I’m Alicia Forest…
I write contemporary women’s fiction with a focus on small town relationships. I also dabble in the mystical, just for kicks.
I’ve considered myself to be a writer since – well, since forever. I taught myself to read before I started Kindergarten because I desperately wanted to get lost inside “The Cat in the Hat”. What magical things words were then – and they became my escape as I grew. But more about that later… I took the very long way around to claiming my deep desire to become a novelist.
While I got my undergrad degree in English, I was also pre-law – not so much for me, but for my Dad’s dream of being my becoming a lawyer. I worked as a paralegal for a few years, where I quickly discovered it was most definitely not for me, moved on to teaching 7-12 grade English, quickly discovered that wasn’t for me, and then jumped around from being a preschool teacher, junior activities director, loan processor (🥱), to finally landing a job at my alma mater as the public relations director – which was the longest working-for-someone-else stint I ever had before being downsized 22 months in.
That’s when I decided to… pursue my writing career?
